Seriously. Thank you!

In 2024 we had 112 volunteers serving nearly 15,000 attendees, and we were absolutely blown away by the sweat, heart, and love that you all put in.

We’ll get started planning for 2025 in October of 2024. Until then, be kind, be proud, and take care of each other!

LEND A HAND

We can’t have Pride without you! Whether it be day of help or planning, we are always looking for volunteers. Let us know what you’re interested in and we will reach out with available opportunities!

3 days and tons of options!

Each year the Lansing Pride Festival has a very large collection of things that our volunteers help with, and they cater to every skill and ability level!

Everything from door staff on the Friday of Pride weekend for the white party, to help with managing the stage on Saturday, or helping tear down on Sunday are all things we can welcome you to contribute!

If you are curious, you can take a look at the full list of 2024 Volunteer Task Descriptions for all the details from last year.

Group or Individual?

Lansing Pride Festival typically accepts scheduling preferences in two ways: as individuals or as groups.

If you are a group coordinator, you use the "Group Volunteer Form" to provide your group's scheduling preferences, including types of jobs, age of the volunteers, when your group is available, and whether you’d like to be scheduled together or separately. For our purposes, a group is any two or more people who want to be scheduled, managed, and assigned together.

If you, like 96.2% of our volunteers, are volunteering as an individual we are extremely excited to see you! Our volunteers and coordinators are some absolutely amazing humans, and you will fit in immediately. When we launch the requests, you will use the "Individual Volunteer Form" to provide your own scheduling preferences.

Questions?

We are sure we will encounter a ton of questions as we go through the process, but feel free to email us and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Thank you again to everyone who has been (or will be) involved in making this festival fun, welcoming, safe, and successful!
